We Love You Cooper

Yes, I know I sound like a 2 year old but apparently that is what happens when you put me on camera. Cooper is staying with his Nana and Papa in AZ while we go to Bermuda. We made the video for him incase he gets lonely and wants to see us.

My parents came and picked Cooper up and left on Thursday morning. I had kind of a rough day. I was in and out of tears until Ken got home from work later that afternoon. Then we went to see "Where the wild thing are". It was good but left me feeling heavy and melancholy.

Today we spent the morning packing and getting the last of our stuff together. Then we went and had a nice lunch and then over to Burke Williams. I got a pedicure and Ken just hung out in the men's amenities room. After we had a nice early dinner then home and off the bed early. We have to get up at 3:30 to be at the airport tomorrow at 5:00 am. Yuck!! But I am sure Bermuda will be worth it. Catch up with you all when we get home.

We are pregnant!

When I missed my period last month I thought I might be but the test all came out negative (I think I took 4) then the following week Ken told me to take another one just to be sure. I took it and then set it on the counter and walked out. I didn't think it would be positive but it was. I still didn't believe it so I took another the next day. Then another the following week just to absolutely sure. So...apparently I really am pregnant. I have my first appointment next Tuesday.

We told our parents by putting Cooper in a shirt I found that says "mom's knocked up." I thought it was the funniest thing.

We are excited but because of what happened last time I still feel guarded. I think that is why I needed to take so many tests. I know I will come around but right now I am not planning too much.
